JAIPUR HAVELI

JAIPUR HAVELI

This collection of handmade clutch bags is inspired by the beauty of the intricately adorned Havelis of Jaipur. Havelis are historical town houses of the Maharajas and their families and are highly influenced by Rajasthani architecture. A Haveli typically has a courtyard that was often used by the Indian royals for traditional ceremonies and rituals. Intrigued by the charm and heritage of the Havelis we created clutch bags that feature embroidered Rajasthani vintage fabric. Each of the bags is therefore unique.

PINK CITY JEWELS

PINK CITY JEWELS

The romantic dusty pink hues of the old town of Jaipur give the Rajasthani city its famous name “Pink City”. Jaipur’s ornate royal palaces, its colors and heritage inspired us to create our jewelry collection according to ancient enamelling techniques dating back to the 16th century. Each of our enamel earrings showcases intricate hand-painted artworks in the most unique color combinations. In India, enamelling is a very rare craft solely cultivated by the Meenakar cast. It requires a team of skilled artisans to create our jewelry. The “Sonar” forms the metal base according to our design. The “Chhatera” engraves the design into the metal and creates grooves and walls to hold the color. The “Meenakar” then pours in the colors. After each color, the jewelry is fired in a kiln.

The meticulous craftsmanship, the intricate artworks and mesmerizing colors makes the jewelry one-of-a-kind.

AGONDA DAY DREAMS

AGONDA DAY DREAMS

This collection is inspired by the pristine Agonda beach at the southernmost tip of Goa. Only few beaches of India can measure up to the tranquil, unspoiled sands and crashing waves of this 3km long, crescent shaped beach. It is a haven for weary souls, where Ridley turtles nest and local fisherman cast their hand-knotted nets into the teal blue sea just before sunrise. For “Agonda Day Dreams” we worked with highly textured cotton fabrics in neutral shades of sand and white. To create a very natural look we embroidered and appliquéd in rough organic textures.

Transform your interior space into a haven of relaxation with these soothing designs.

AKBAR & ANARKALI

AKBAR & ANARKALI

The hand-printed bed set collection is inspired by the enchanting love story between the Mughal emperor Akbar and Nadira Begum in the 14th century. Akbar was so enamored by Nadira’s beauty that he named her “Anarkali”, meaning "pomegranate blossom". The various designs in this collection are a modern interpretation of the Mughal pomegranate drawings and themes. Our craftsmen painstakingly hand-stitched and hand-quilted the cotton Muslin duvet and cushion shams.

Incredibly soft, well-made and beautiful.

WHITE ISLE

WHITE ISLE

“Nights and days came and passed. And summer and winter and the rain. And it was good to be a little Island. A part of the world and a world of its own. All surrounded by the bright blue sea.” Inspired by Margaret Wise Brown's poem, 'The Little Island', we created a timeless summer collection in shades of blue in combination with bright whites. We worked with chanderi, a luxurious mix of cotton and silk produced by weaving zari into silk. With its restrained gloss and sheer texture, it is considered the fabric of royalty. The collection features embroidered, hand-printed and appliquéd designs.

Summer will never end with these timeless creations in blue and white.

MUGHAL MINIMALISM

MUGHAL MINIMALISM

With "Mughal Minimalism" we created a contemporary and minimalisic take on the magnificent Mughal architecture. Mughal monuments such as the famous Taj Mahal are a blend of Islamic, Persian and Indian architecture. They are characterized by bulbous domes, slender minarets with cupolas at the four corners, large halls, massive vaulted gateways and delicate geometric ornamentation. We used textured, hand-dyed cottons and added hand-cut, embroidered felt appliqués to create a distinctive sense of symmetry and two-dimensionality.

Mughal Minimalism showcases the rich interplay between pure geometric form and elegance and creates an atmosphere of modern, lean chic.
